Chartered Electrical Engineer

Eng. G.A.A. Upendra

Eng. G.A.A. Upendra is a Chartered Electrical Engineer (MIESL, MBCS) with a B.Sc. (Hons) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Moratuwa and over 15 years of professional experience. He currently serves at the Sri Lanka Ports Authority, specializing in electrical installation design, maintenance, and energy efficiency. Upendra has designed and certified numerous large-scale commercial and industrial electrical systems, including projects for ODEL, Cargills, and Chevron Caltex.

His expertise spans low-voltage distribution, digital and analog control systems, PLC-based automation, and energy auditing, supported by memberships in the Green Building Council of Sri Lanka and the British Computer Society.
